September has been busy at Little Hall with visitors from near and far and several groups coming to see what we have to offer. The season has been going well so far. We have welcomed nearly 1500 visitors over the four months we have been open.
At the time of writing, we have just had a lovely party in the garden for all our volunteers and supporters. There was good food and wine and the weather was positively balmy so a good time was had by all.
We have managed to build up the number of opening days. From the middle of September, the hours increased and we now are very nearly back to our previous hours. A big thank you to all our volunteers who have enabled this to happen.
The season will end on Sunday the 31st October. Until then Little Hall will be open from 1.00pm to 4.00pm every afternoon except Monday.
Although the main season will finish at the end of October, we will still able to welcome groups during the rest of the year. For a group of 10 or more there is a concessionary rate of £4.00 per person. You can have a guided tour or wander freely through the house. We are also happy to offer illustrated talks about the house and its history at meetings of your group. For more information and to book see Visit Us or email bookings@littlehall.org.uk
If you would be interested in helping to keep this lovely old house alive, we need help to guide our visitors, in our shop, in the garden, to look after our collections and much more. If you would like to find out more, please call into the house one afternoon, look at volunteering or contact Gwyn Arnott via recruit@littlehall.org.uk and we will be in touch.
